SER Plast srl (Ecological Services for the Recovery of Plastic Materials) is an active reality with thirty years of experience in the rubber and plastic sector. Since its foundation the company has been involved in the recovery, recycling and regeneration of plastics and rubber in general, both from industrial production waste and from civil collection waste. Our great wealth is the in-depth knowledge of the various materials, which derives in part from the great many years of experience, and in part from the continuous search for increasingly precise and reliable processing methods.

Initially our business was mainly focused on the production of plastic articles and research in the recycling sector, research that over the years has allowed us to develop solutions to obtain products of ever higher quality. Over the years we have maintained high levels of growth, continuing to invest in new technologies and approaching new markets and, in 2018, we moved to the new headquarters in Località Stampalone, in the municipality of Cellino Attanasio. The company is currently part of several supply chain consortia, including the COREPLA consortium (National Consortium for the Collection, Recycling and Recovery of Plastic Packaging), in which we are qualified recoverers, and the CONIP consortium (National Consortium for Packaging in Plastic) in which we act as consortium recyclers. The SER Furthermore, Plast srl is an ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) certified company, thanks to the high standards of manufacturing processes. Furthermore, after a long improvement activity of its products, today we present different types of materials with Plastic Second Life certification, an important European mark issued by the IPPR (Institute for the Promotion of Recycled Plastics), which identifies the materials obtained from the valorisation of plastic waste. To date, the company operates in an area of ​​approximately 18,000 square meters, of which 4,000 square meters are covered and used for industrial activity, and has a production capacity of 40,000 tons / year. The Process

The stages of processing The recycling and regeneration process of plastic materials in our factory is made up of several phases, carried out thanks to complex machinery and skilled and suitably trained personnel.

In particular, plastic waste and scraps can undergo all or only some of the following processes: - Manual selection - Shredding - Iron removal - Grinding - Automatic selection by polymer and by color - Washing - Drying - Densification - Granulation - Mixing. The finished products, once stored in big bags on pallets, are ready to be shipped to customers throughout Europe, accompanied by certificates of analysis that document their characteristics according to the UNIPLAST 10667 standards.
