Maurizio Passalacqua's company has been dealing with the recovery and marketing of metal scrap in Viterbo for over thirty years. It collects scrap from both individuals and companies and public bodies to then separate the metal parts and give them a second life by selling them to steel mills and foundries, thus preventing them from being dispersed into the environment. It also carries out rehabilitation and demolition works both in urban, industrial or agricultural areas. The Passalacqua Maurizio company has been dealing for over thirty years with the collection, recycling and trade and recovery of metal and ferrous scrap . We operate mainly in the local area throughout the territory of Viterbo and the province up to the Lazio coast of Tarquinia, Montalto.

We also operate throughout the neighboring area, such as Terni, Narni, Amelia, San Gemini and the areas of Rieti and Sabina, Otricoli and Magliano Sabina, up to the borders of Rome: Faleria, Sant 'Oreste, Rignano Flaminio, Riano Morlupo.

Our work is fundamental for the environment and for ecology, since being a non-biodegradable material extracted from the environment, the collection avoids damage to the latter. The metal waste, then, is appropriately reused by workshops or competent operators in the sector such as steel mills and foundries.

THE FATE OF YOUR WRECKS

After collection, the scrap is brought and stored in our headquarters, where processing begins. First of all, the metal scraps are separated from the other materials (which will be disposed of strictly in accordance with the laws in force on the subject) to be subsequently divided according to the metals that compose them. In addition to iron and the alloys that make it its own (such as steel and cast iron, both composed of iron and carbon in varying quantities), in fact, the metals that can be reused by industries are copper, zinc, brass, lead and aluminum . Once the separation has been carried out, the various metals are compacted and are ready to be sent to the various industries that will use them.

THE IMPORTANCE OF SCRAP METAL RECYCLING

Recycling scrap metal has more than one advantage for the whole country. The first and most evident is to avoid that these materials are indiscriminately dispersed in the environment where they could cause serious damage to the health of inhabitants and animals, as well as ruining those landscapes that have made Italy famous and which contribute to attracting every year thousands of tourists. But when it comes to ferrous scrap, the geophysical aspect of our country must also be taken into consideration, which on the whole is quite poor in raw materials. The exploitation of all the metal deriving from the recovery of scrap therefore contributes to lowering the import quotas from other countries of those same raw materials, thus reducing the country's expenses and instead favoring the domestic economy.scrap recovery helps the environment, but also the Italian economy.
