Our History

Founded in Beauparc, Co Meath, in 1990, Beauparc has greatly expanded and diversified over the last 30 years. Starting out with a team of just two people, Beauparc now employs over 2,300 employees.

Our once fledgling company now supplies utilities to homes, businesses and communities and oversees facilities all across Ireland, the UK and internationally.

Our first primary business consisted of the Panda division. Over the intervening years, Panda expanded from a local recycling service into Ireland’s leading commercial and domestic waste management company.

In 2011, we opened our state of the art material recovery facility and the following year, In 2012, we expanded into Commercial Vehicle Testing services and fleet management with Spanners Limited.

Following that, in 2015, Beauparc launched one of its most exciting ventures to date with Panda Power Limited.

'We started with 2.
Now employing over 2,300'

Positioning itself as one of Ireland’s leading suppliers of renewable energy, Panda Power provides homes and businesses with energy derived from 100% renewable resources.

In 2016, we acquired Ireland’s second large waste company, Greenstar. Greenstar now processes over 530,000 tonnes of waste every year.

That same year also saw Beauparc’s first move into the UK when Newearth - one of the UK’S leading waste treatment specialists - became part of the Beauparc family.

In 2017, Beauparc further enhanced its position in the green energy industry with the acquisition of Bioverda. Operating at over twenty landfill sites across Ireland, Bioverda generates electricity through the extraction of methane gas through landfill.

That same year we continued our strategic expansion into the UK market with our acquisition of WSR Recycling. Based in North West England, WSR Recycling is a leading waste management, recycling and resource recovery business.

2018 has seen the acquisition of Scotwaste, Scotland's leading integrated skip hire and waste management business. Littleton Composting facility in Tipperary, Ireland, also joined the group in 2018. As did Renes, a diverse collection and recovery business based in The Netherlands.

The acquisition of Leeds based, waste management business, AWM, in November 2018 has added to the current Beauparc porfolio.
