History

The extraction activity of the Boccardo family begins already in the first post-war period. It was the progenitor of the Giuseppe Boccardo family known as “Pinin” who began the extraction of aggregates from the riverbed of the Po. Subsequently the activity was moved to land outside the riverbed and exactly in the Molinello Region in Moncalieri (TO). It is here that the Cave Moncalieri was founded by the will of Pinin and his son Livio on 20-10-1960. Over the years, the extraction activity has been accompanied by that of transport, thus providing itself with another valuable service in favor of customers. In the 1980s, his sons Giuseppe, Fabrizia and Cristina joined the company alongside Livio Boccardo, the current Director.
