There CAVIT IS BORN

On November 9, 1966, the CAVIT di Borsarelli Giovanni, Colombino Antonio and C. sas was established at the headquarters of the notary Savio in Via Perrone 10 in Turin, having as its object the excavation and extraction of sandy and gravelly materials, from take place in the municipality of La Loggia, in the Rotto and Gorrini regions.

Subsequently, during 1971, following the exit of the other shareholders, Cavit remains the property of the brothers Antonio and Mario Colombino; in 1975 F.lli Colombino snc was incorporated into Cavit, which became Cavit dei F.lli Colombino snc. Unfortunately, the name will change in 1979, following the untimely death of Mario Colombino, which took place in 1978, at the age of 47.

There CAVIT TODAY

This is therefore a very brief chronological summary of the most distant years, based on the deeds and documents in our possession, of what has actually been a long history of people who have carried out their initiatives with determination and courage to build something.

The mining activity in La Loggia then ceased in 1989, continuing in other sites and with other brands (Cave Germaire and Cava degli Olmi), and Cavit (which for some years was Nuova Cavit, only to return to the original name) has converted its business to earthmoving, recovery and recycling of construction waste and the resale of building materials.
