TSA Trasimeno Environmental Services Spa

The  Trasimeno Environmental Services , TSA SpA, is a society in public-private joint venture that operates in the integrated waste cycle. The Company was established in 1990 on the initiative of the Municipalities of Lake Trasimeno and Corciano with the aim of managing the Urban Hygiene Services in an entrepreneurial way.

Trasimeno Environmental Services TSA SpA is a shareholder of Gest Srl, the company that won the tender for the integrated management of waste in the ATI No. 2 of Umbria.

The ATI n ° 2 (Trasimeno - Perugino - Marscianese - Tuderte) was the first ATI of the Umbria Region to draw up the Waste Area Plan, which contains the survey of the management methods, infrastructures and existing plants and defines the procedures and strategies for achieving the objectives set by current environmental regulations

Following the issue of the Waste Area Plan, the ATI n ° 2 launched in 2008 a European tender for the award of the Integrated Waste Cycle, that is: collection and sweeping, transport, recovery, disposal and monitoring of waste performed activities.

GEST participated in the tender by presenting a project compliant with the provisions of the Area Plan and was the contractor of the service: in December 2009, therefore, a credit agreement was signed with expiry in 2024, between GEST, ATI no. 2 and the individual municipalities.
