AWD has been proudly servicing Wicklow & South East for over 35 years. As a family run business, we pride ourselves on providing cost effective waste solutions to both the Domestic and Commercial markets.  In today’s society, as an environmentally conscientious partner we work to educate communities about waste, its environmental impacts and the need to promote re-use, recycling and sustainability at every opportunity.

We are dedicated to minimising the volume of waste material being sent to landfill and the active promotion of re-use and recycling of valuable resources to create closed material life cycles. The old adage of ‘waste not, want not, is key to the AWD ethos. Producing secondary raw materials and reprocessing to produce new products is an environmental necessity.

Wheelie bins

AWD provide wheelie bins of varying sizes for the collection of waste. Ranging from 7 litre containers for segregating waste in the home, to your standard domestic 140litre and 240 litre wheelie bins  right up to large 1100 litre wheel bins used to collect commercial waste. Domestic waste and recycling collections

AWD operate professional domestic collection services for general waste, recyclables and organics. Ensuring a great service at the best price. You can also track your bin lifts, bin weights on-line for account holders. Please see the Online Account section for full details.

Commercial waste and recycling collections

AWD collect and process any waste material generated at commercial and business premises including general waste, recyclables, plastic and hazardous waste [by arrangement].

Skip Hire

AWD provides an efficient, cost-effective skip hire service. Skips range in size from the small 4 cubic yard skips right up to the enormous 35 cubic yard roll-on skips. Ideal for small and large clearances or construction projects.

Plastics Reprocessing

AWD have the capability to manage all waste plastics. Through shredding, granulating, and pelletizing – waste plastics are transformed into secondary raw materials suitable for the manufacture of new products. These materials can then be re-used in select manufacturing processes.

Hazardous Waste Management

AWD is committed to providing cost effective, environmentally sensitive alternatives and solutions. All hazardous wastes managed by AWD are explored as a source of raw material or energy before other safe and compliant disposal options are considered.
