Riolo Recycling srl provides integrated environmental services and boasts particular experience in the recovery of ferrous and metal scrap; in industrial demolitions; in the collection and treatment of end-of-life vehicles; the recovery / disposal of special waste, hazardous and non-hazardous, and the resale of reusable spare parts from scrapped vehicles. It has recently expanded the range of its activities by providing roadside assistance and rescue services. The numbers that make the difference: 1 special use tractor for roadside assistance equipped with a rear-mounted crane; 2 tractors for specific use for transporting vehicles for demolition; 2 tipper tractors equipped with loader; 4 trucks intended for micro-collection; 1 roll-off and tipper truck equipped with loader; 1 tipper truck; 3 forklifts; 2 self-propelled 30 ton loaders; 50 roll-off containers.

History

The company was founded in 1977 in the first phase of the Ragusa industrial area as a family-run company for the wholesale and retail trade of ferrous and metal scrap. Over the years, industrial development, the experiences acquired and the commercial seriousness demonstrated have led the company to become a point of reference in the field of scrap recovery in the Hyblean territory. At the beginning of the 1980s, the company bought an area outside the city for the storage of end-of-life vehicles, originating from the self-demolition activity. The environmental regulations of the last twenty years have represented the guidelines for the correct transport and storage of special, hazardous and non-hazardous waste, including the micro-collection of lead accumulators from customers, such as Punto Cobat for south-eastern Sicily.
