Cartiere Saci

Str. Della Ferriera, 17, Verona, Verona, Italy | Paper Recycling

1959 - Foundation

Equipped with a single paper machine, Cartiere Saci immediately started producing wrapping paper from recycled raw material, when the environment, ecology and circular economy were concepts still to be invented and developed.

1964 - Machine Installation 2

The second paper machine is installed, continuing the idea that waste paper is not a waste, but a resource and an opportunity.

1974 - Ing. Mario Poli

True founder of the company, it is due to Eng. Mario Poli the intuition that in the future ecology and respect for the environment would dominate the industrial evolution of the system.

The homonymous Prize to promote and encourage the training of young people in the paper industry is named after Mario Poli.

2000 - Cogeneration

Since 2000, the company has invested in cogeneration from a green perspective, with the aim of self-producing energy with low emissions and being increasingly competitive.

2010 - Expansion

The company duplicates the covered spaces to be able to stow raw materials and finished products, increasing the level of service and quality.

2014 - PM3

PM3 was born through the acquisition of another production site, in effect a third line equipped with the most modern technologies and cutting-edge systems, perfectly integrated with those of the Verona plant.
