Agriplast

Via Filippo Bonetta n.35, Vittoria, Ragusa, Italy | Plastic Recycling

Agriplast was born in Vittoria (RG) in 1975 to produce polyethylene films for the agricultural sector, which was at that time experiencing a period of strong expansion in southern Italy. Thanks to a constant commitment to research and technological innovation, the company is growing rapidly expanding throughout the country. In 1992 Agriplast decided to diversify its business by opening a new factory for the production of plastic films for packaging. Driven by a great passion we have always invested in research and technology to put on the market increasingly performing products.

The constant purchase of technologically advanced and highly productive manufacturing plants has accompanied the growth of the company, both from a qualitative and quantitative point of view, which has thus become a reference point in the world. The production technology has rapidly moved from the initial extrusion in monolayer to the three-layer extrusion which nowadays has been totally replaced by the five- and seven-layer one with a huge growth in quality and product range. In this way,to the films for agricultural use were added at first those for packaging, and then geomembranes and industrial films. Agriplast is today, in the agricultural sector, the leader in Italy for the number of quantities produced and among the first producers in the world.
