The company Sismex Srl offers the service of non-hazardous special waste disposal at its plant in Collecorvino (PE). The waste that is not treated is mainly inert waste such as concrete, bricks, tiles and ceramics, demolition rubble, bituminous mixtures and plasterboard. Furthermore, waste such as mixed packaging, plastic, paper, metals, etc. is disposed of.

Products

Our company produces artificial aggregates (eco-aggregates) for construction which replace the natural aggregates in their entirety. The artificial or industrial aggregate is defined as: “ mineral aggregate resulting from the recovery of waste deriving from an industrial process that involves thermal or other modification “.

By way of example and not exhaustively, the following products made using recycled and artificial aggregates are indicated:

1) Recycled aggregate for the construction of the embankment of earthen works of civil engineering ;

2) Recycled aggregate for the construction of road, railway, airport and civil and industrial aprons;

3) Recycled aggregate for the construction of foundation layers of transport infrastructures and civil and industrial yards;

4) Recycled aggregate for the realization of environmental recovery, filling and bridging;

5) Recycled aggregate for the creation of accessory layers (having an anticapillary, antifreeze, draining function, etc.);

6) Recycled aggregate compliant with the harmonized standard Uni En 12620: 2008 for the preparation of concrete with resistance class Rck  leq 15 Mpa, according to the indications of the UNI 8520 - 1 and UNI 8520 - 2 standards.

There are today different technologies of waste treatment by C & D are able to obtain recycled aggregates of high quality, usable in the construction industry, with characteristics perst actional comparable to those of natural aggregates. The plant managed by our company allows you to efficiently work a multitude of waste in order to obtain artificial aggregates that comply with the UNI EN 13242: 2008 standards.
