OVER FIFTY YEARS OF HISTORY

BS srl began its business in December 2004, inheriting Salvatore Bisogno's old company BS founded in 1963. Today, his son Carmine continues his father's business, carrying on a company that has been known for over 50 years throughout the region and beyond.

Work process

The working process mainly deals with the recycling, production and transformation of polyethylene, that is, bags and packaging in general. The products made are: shrink wrap, bags, sacks, extensible and also deals with the marketing of related products for packaging. BS srl is specialized, among other things, in the production, by extrusion, of micro-perforated and non-micro-perforated shrink film for use in ovens for packaging items. The production, through the extrusion of raw materials, of polyethylene bags of various sizes absorbs about 30% of the total produced annually.

Raw materials used

The raw materials are chosen from a prior careful technical evaluation of the polymers to be purchased. The fundamental requirements, which suppliers must possess to be qualified, are the Company Environmental Certification and the Certification of Product suitable for use for Food. Polyethylene is non-toxic and does not release toxic substances, which is why it is used as primary packaging for food packaging. All Master dyes used for coloring the bags are certified for use in food packaging.

BS srl has always been attentive to the health of end users and the environment.

Production processes

All the company's production processes are technologically advanced, suitable to always guarantee the same product requested by the customer, immune to variations in temperature or humidity. The applied technology allows a constant control of the production parameters even from a distance. For customers who require recycled materials, BS srl produces sacks for NU in various colors starting from industrial waste.

Certifications

BS srl is in possession of a Single Environmental Authorization (AUA) which demonstrates awareness and attention to the environment. This Authorization makes it possible to recover and recycle polyethylene production waste, transforming them into secondary raw materials and, therefore, giving new life to these materials, thus preventing them from being incinerated. The AUA also allows to have the traceability of the material from when it is discarded to when it becomes a finished product. The AUA includes all the environmental authorization measures regarding atmospheric emissions, acoustic impact, etc.

BS srl is also certified according to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 standard for the company quality management system and according to UNI 10667-2: 2010 for the certification of regenerated product MPS (secondary raw material) PSV (second plastic vita) with accredited body Accredia. All Function and Quality managers are always available to customers for specific technical meetings.
