Ecolvetro Srl carries out the collection, transport and recovery of glass waste from urban and industrial flows with consolidated thirty years of experience , enhancing them as a precious resource, through processing on its own dedicated plant lines, pursuing sustainable development in every process.

Ecolvetro directly manages all the connected phases: from the separate collection of glass (also providing dedicated and specialized auxiliary services to the Public / Private sectors), to direct processing through its own plants, becoming a reference player with a high level of know-how in this sector.

Every year Ecolvetro guarantees the recovery of 100,000 tons of vitreous waste in an environmentally responsible and sustainable perspective , contributing with its activity to the protection of the territory by providing secondary raw materials to replace natural resources, the use of which also leads to savings. on fusion energies and consequent reduction of CO2 emissions.

The Ecolvetro Srl industrial site is characterized by 2000 square meters of covered structures, 16000 square meters of areas used for the storage of materials entering and leaving the treatment plant.

Ecolvetro Srl, to assist in carrying out its activities, also owns logistic areas strategically located to cover the entire territory of Liguria and Piedmont.

Company history

1986

Ecolvetro Srl was founded in 1986 in Cairo Montenotte (Sv) by locating its production plant in a logistically strategic area with an intense glass vocation.

1994

In the mid-90s the corporate asset of Ecolvetro Srl changes, with the acquisition, by the reference shareholders, of the shareholdings of the co-founding glass company.

1995-2008

Progressive improvement of the treatment lines through local and distributed interventions and with the acquisition of specialized skills.

From 2010 to today:

Structural reorganization and innovation (process and human resources): Adoption of a decisive investment plan that has made it possible to radically modernize the production lines, providing for the installation on them of the best plant technologies available, allowing the acquisition of new important orders and guaranteeing at the same time greater efficiency and the achievement of excellent and recognized qualitative performances.

Company mission

Collection, selection and processing of cullet aimed at obtaining secondary raw material with a high quality standard to be destined for the hollow glass industry, guaranteeing full customer satisfaction in every process, in compliance with regulatory requirements, pursuing sustainable development as guarantees of future generations. For this reason, Ecolvetro has activated an Integrated Quality and Environment Management System.

Organization, Management and Control Model pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/01 and the Code of Ethics

The decision to adopt this Model, which has a precise operational and managerial significance, was made by the top management of the Company in order to maximize the effectiveness of the fight against the commission of crimes inherent to corporate activity.

The Supervisory Body was also established with the task of supervising the effectiveness and operation of the Model.
