Fontana Larga has at its disposal a large area on the Via Tiberina, in the municipality of Riano and a few kilometers north of Rome, used since the 1950s as a tuff quarry and then converted into a modern recovery plant and landfill for inert materials.

The management of waste, in compliance with the specific legislation on the subject, is carried out in accordance with the principles of precaution, prevention, proportionality, accountability and cooperation of all those involved in the production, distribution, use and consumption of goods from which the waste originates.
