Inert Recycling Company

CO.RI , acronym of Compagnia Riciclaggio Inerti , operating in San Daniele Po (CR) since 2013, was born with the aim of filling a void, hitherto felt in the territory by the provinces of Parma, Cremona and Piacenza , in relation to the need for give an effective response to the problems of disposal of inert waste and the obvious opportunities deriving from their appropriate enhancement in order to allow the optimal and more adequate reuse.

With a targeted action of significant plant evolutions, compared to the original setting aimed at the production of aggregates only for embankments and foundations, CO.RI is now in a position to propose itself to the market, both in terms of granulometric classifications and performance characteristics, with a range of products and methods of use much wider and innovative as well as significantly advantageous in economic terms .

This company choice has also proved to be in full coherence and harmony with the most recent guidelines of the European Commission, which, we recall, sets as its 2020 goal, for all member countries, the achievement of 70% recycling / recovery of construction waste and demolition annually produced.

In fact, the quantity of this type of waste is greater than 2 billion tons, which, appropriately and widely reused, will be able to offer a concrete and significant contribution to the much desired “sustainable development”.

To achieve these production opportunities, an intense and demanding plant implementation was implemented by CO.RI, the result of research and technological development, constantly supported by a certified and accredited external laboratory, as regards the products obtained, which has monitored, ascertained and validated, gradually, the various performance parameters.

The high flexibility of the production cycle introduced, the maximization and the efficiency of the separation and recovery cycle of the extraneous fractions and in particular of the ferrous ones, allow today, in addition to the production of any grain size, to optimize, reducing also the mass weight of the materials deriving from the treatment and recovery of steel mill slag, notoriously characterized by excellent performance standards, but up to now, in commercial terms, penalized by their high specific weight, more markedly for particle sizes below 20-30 mm.

Based on these assumptions, the production of new composite matrix mixtures was therefore decided and introduced, managed in percentage terms and balanced by means of a rigid electronic control, which combine the advantages deriving from the 'lightness' of the rubble with the 'resistance' of the steel mill slag.
