SSR GmbH was founded in 2014 and has specialized in recycling EPS Styrofoam.

This includes:

Styrofoam from construction sites

Full thermal protection

Flat roofs

any other areas of construction where EPS styrofoam is used

The largest proportion of Styrofoam waste relates to the area of ​​polystyrene packaging, which we all know from all electrical appliances, furniture packaging, etc.

The entire amount of styrofoam is picked up with our own vehicles in the greater Pinzgau , Pongau , Lungau , Flachgau , Tennengau , parts of Tyrol , Styria and Upper Austria to the Linz area and transported to our recycling facility in Thalgau . One of the most important points for us is to do this as environmentally friendly as possible, so we use vehicles that comply with the latest emulsion regulations.

The delivered amounts of polystyrene are carefully sorted by our trained staff and any foreign objects such as plastic, wood, iron parts or residual waste are sorted out.

Through this process, we recover clean styrofoam granulate that is used in the construction sector for the construction or sub-construction of screed work.

In the first year, our company produced approx. 2,500 m³ of recycled styrofoam. Over the years, the quantities have more than doubled each year, so that currently approx. 50,000 m³ - 60,000 m³ Styrofoam runs through our system.

SSR GmbH has also developed in other ways over the past two years! There are now two new branches of business, winter service with wheel loaders including salt spreading and sweeping with suction sweepers.
