The Lower Austrian family company from Hainfeld was founded in 1954 by Hans Zöchling sen. was founded and was originally only active in the regional transport industry. In 1976 Johann Zöchling jun. joined the company and has continued to develop it ever since. Around the Hans Zöchling GmbH he built up a group of companies that is still managed by the Zöchling family and today employs around 250 people.

The range of services currently ranges from transport, gravel and crushed stone extraction, earthworks, demolition, structural and civil engineering, recycling and landfill operations to metal technology as well as car dealerships and car workshops.

In recent years, the topics of waste management, recycling, processing and reuse of raw materials have come more and more into focus and are now an essential pillar. With numerous landfills and various recycling and processing plants, Zöchling Hainfeld is playing a pioneering role in urban mining throughout Austria. At the same time, however, investments are also made in the traditional areas - transport, raw material extraction, earthworks, demolition, building construction and civil engineering - in order to be able to meet the quality requirements of the markets.
