History
Garbage trucks1982 l Founding of the working group Brantner Walter Ges.mbH and Dürr Ges.mbH (ARGE Brantner-Dürr) by the two managing directors Walter Brantner and Werner Dürr sen. Initially, the company was commissioned by the community association for tax collection and waste disposal in the Zwettl district - GVZ - to dispose of residual waste (at that time the only fraction) in the Zwettl district.
The waste separation system was gradually expanded and the collection activities expanded to include bulky waste, organic waste, waste paper, waste glass and cans.
1983-1991 lThe communities in the Gmünd district were able to be continuously integrated into our contract area. Since 1991, waste disposal activities have been carried out in the entire district on behalf of the municipal association for environmental protection tasks in the Gmünd district - GUV.
From the Waidhofen / Thaya district, the contract area around the communities of Dietmanns, Gr. Siegharts and Vitis to expand (now on behalf of the municipal association for waste management tasks in the administrative district Waidhofen / Th. - GVA). The vehicle fleet and the number of employees were increased accordingly and branches were set up in Zwettl (Kremser Straße 46) and Schrems.
1992 l ARGE Brantner-Dürr was converted into Brantner-Dürr Gesellschaft mbH.
1993 lThe packaging ordinance came into force. Contracts with the industry recycling companies of the ARA system could be concluded. The collection of yellow sacks, old glass and cardboard was started. These new tasks required investments and a further increase in the number of employees.
1993-1995 l Establishment of two regional transfer points (Zwettl and Schrems) for ARA-licensed packaging material.
2002 l Introduction of a quality management system and certification according to ISO 9001: 2000.

There, the residual waste is pressed into containers and then transported in an environmentally friendly manner by rail to the waste incineration plant in Dürnrohr. In addition, we lease a hall on the site of the transfer station for the intermediate storage of paper, which is also transported by train to the paper factory in Steyrermühl.
2005 l When the new electrical equipment ordinance came into force in August, we set up collection points for electrical equipment in Schrems and Kleinschönau (garbage transfer station).
