The need for transport was great when Johann Kerschner decided in 1930 to set up his own company in Mank. Progress was just arriving, but oxen and horses in particular were still pulling carts through the district. It was a laborious business. Even back then, the young farmer's son relied on innovation and a new form of horsepower: he bought his first truck. It was the right decision at the right time. With his capable wife Poldi at his side, he built up a flourishing company within a short period of time. Two sons, Johann and Alfred, made happiness perfect.

The Second World War demanded everything from the company and after the end of the war required the rebuilding of the cargo and passenger transport company. The sons joined the company at a young age and continued what their parents had started. Business and family grew equally.

My grandfather would be proud if he could see what has become of his company in the third generation: We have developed from a pure transport and logistics company into a regional waste disposal specialist - we have never lost the pioneering spirit from the 1930s. He is needed in a dynamic industry like waste management.
