Bauer + Moosleitner Disposal Technology GmbH is a corporate cooperation between Bauer Resources GmbH based in Schrobenhausen in Bavaria and Moosleitner Umwelt GmbH in Nussdorf aH in the state of Salzburg. The joint venture BME was founded in 2013 with the start of operations of an AWG system approved by the Salzburg state government. Contaminated excavated materials can be treated here on a hall area of ​​5,000 m² using biological remediation technology, and construction waste on an open area of ​​15,000 m² using mechanical breaking, sieving and sorting technology. The AWG plant has an approved capacity of 100,000 tons per year.

Since 2016, the BME has also had a legal waste permit to set up and operate an inert waste landfill in Upper Bavaria with a filling volume of approx. 600 thousand cubic meters. Backfilling of the Brunn pit with DK0 material, especially for the greater Munich area, started in December 2017. The mining of the raw materials still contained in the Brunn pit is also carried out by the operating company BME.
