More than 80 years after it was founded, the Mayer group now employs 25 employees and over 140 workers and carries out a wide variety of commercial activities, such as: master builder work, waste collectors and treaters, cross-border goods transport, trade and real estate.

The technically excellently trained mechanics in our in-house workshop ensure that the entire fleet of over 30 trucks, 70 construction machines and 60 small trucks is properly maintained and is always in top condition.

History

More than 80 years ago, Johann Mayer, born in 1908, laid the foundation for today's Mayer Group and began a success story that has not yet been written. Starting with a concession for the transport of goods, the transport of people soon followed.

Johann Mayer ran the bus company with a travel agency until 1975, when he finally passed the reins to his wife Hermine Mayer when he retired. At the same time, his son Hermann Mayer sen. the transport of goods in local transport.

In 1985, today's boss, Hans-Peter Mayer, took over the duties of his father and grandmother in order to run an independent company in 1987, which already included bus transport, transport companies in local, long-distance, heavy, small and medium-sized transport as well as Demolition company covers.

In 2012 all 8 buses will be handed over, three years later the travel agency will be completely separated in order to focus entirely on the rapidly expanding Mayer & Co. In the meantime, the two sons Daniel and Clemens Mayer have also joined the company to continue the Mayer legacy.
