Herma and Johann Neumüller laid the foundation stone. Since then we have grown together into a stately company.

THE FIRST STEPS

In 1966, Herma and Johann Neumüller founded their steel and scrap business. Since then, Eisen Neumüller has been a real family business. In 1984, 10,000 m² of land was purchased at the Mauthausen site and the first warehouse was built on it.

Constant expansions also in the scrap sector and problems with the loading of scrap (this had to be loaded first onto trucks and then onto wagons at Mauthausen station) finally required a change of location for the scrap trade.

CONSTANT EXPANSION

In 1998 they found what they were looking for in Ennshafen. The new scrapyard with its own siding was put into operation as early as 1999. The next major expansion step took place in 2005. A harbor basin was rented in Ennshafen so that steel could also be obtained by ship via the waterway. After a six-month test run, the decision was made to acquire a port property with approx.

A hall with a roofed area of ​​approx. 8,000 m² was built in 2006. In 2009 further expansion measures followed in the Enns harbor. In the meantime, steel and scrap are traded and stored there on a total area of ​​80,000 m².

MODERN SUCCESS

The mix of experience, tradition and progress in the steel and scrap business is complemented at Eisen Neumüller with the most modern IT systems for organization and logistics. The handshake principle still applies here today. In addition to the traditional steel and scrap trade, Eisen Neumüller also offers tailor-made disposal concepts.

In addition to technical know-how, responsibility in recycling requires high-performance equipment. With the water-land transshipment location at the port in Ennsdorf and its own modern truck fleet, Eisen Neumüller has the ideal conditions for this.
