Nemetz Disposal and Transport AG is a family-run company based in Vienna. We offer innovative, attractive and industry-specific solutions for waste disposal, scrap metal & scrap, transport & cranes, recyclable materials, container & dump service and facility management.

COMPANY HISTORY

For over 100 years

The company emerges from a dairy founded in 1898. In 1915, Karl Grünwald founded a small wagon business with a team of horses. By 1939 the fleet grew to 5 trucks. In 1946, Franz Nemetz took over the business from his father-in-law. During the war years, all trucks were confiscated.

In 1958 Hubert Nemetz joins the company and deals for the first time with the disposal of construction site waste. The company is constantly expanded until 1993 and the first sorting hall is opened in Leopoldsdorf.

In 1999, Ulrike Goldnagl-Nemetz and Herbert Prammer took over management of the company and the second company location in Himberg was acquired. The 5th generation is now working in the company.
