Austria Papier Recycling GmbH is a joint venture between Austrian paper mills for the procurement of waste paper as a raw material.
Our owners are UPM Kymmene Austria GmbH, 4662 Steyrermühl, Laakirchen Papier AG, 4663 Laakirchen and Norske Skog Bruck GmbH, 8600 Bruck an der Mur.
Our owners are producers of newsprint and magazine papers. Our purchasing department is therefore specialized in the procurement of so-called deinkable types of waste paper.
Deinking is the process of removing the printing ink from waste paper in order to recover white, printable fibers. Almost everyone holds recycling products made from waste paper, newspapers and magazines, in their hand every day. Newspapers in particular are made from up to 100% recycled fiber.
