We have been taking care of the dental profession since 1984 in all matters relating to the disposal of their dental waste. Our company location in Velten has state-of-the-art facilities for the storage, treatment and recycling of medical residues and waste. Our work processes and technical systems are fully geared towards the optimal and efficient handling of our customers' waste. The protection of our more than 35 employees from the harmful influences that can be associated with waste treatment is also our top priority.

A sophisticated occupational health and safety management system helps us to continuously monitor our processes, identify potential for improvement and implement it quickly. With high efficiency, tons of hazardous and non-hazardous waste are collected by enretec every year, some of which are treated and then recycled or disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.

In the last 30 years, the image of the waste disposal industry has changed significantly. The increasing awareness that our raw material resources are finite and that used products can represent an important source of raw materials (secondary raw materials) has led to a rethink in politics, business and the population. The changes in environmental law underline that today we are putting the recovery of our waste in the foreground and that disposal (destruction) only has to be carried out in the absence of alternatives for certain types of waste.

This development is also reflected in the current fields of activity of enretec. In addition to our traditional disposal of waste from dental-medical facilities, we have specialized in developing and operating take-back systems for trade and industry in the medical sector.

Today more than 25 specialist dealers and 30 manufacturers in the medical industry use our efficient and customer-friendly take-back systems. Our customers prove that they too want to make a contribution to environmentally friendly product concepts. By taking back their used products, they promote the recovery of valuable raw materials and the prevention of environmentally harmful disposal practices.

Break new ground with innovative community models

For the medical industry, we have created a solution for the joint licensing of sales packaging on the basis of the legal obligations under the Packaging Ordinance. This gives the medium-sized medical industry a lever in the hand of the dual systems to significantly improve your purchasing conditions. The lever is: bundling the packaging quantities under the umbrella of enretec. Better prices are achieved with larger quantities.

In cooperation with associations, chambers and educational institutions, we convey the duties of a waste producer according to German waste law in lectures, but always in connection with the logic behind each regulation. We explain what happens to the waste and want to use it to raise awareness of our own actions.

Cooperation with universities and the research industry has resulted in us supplying them with valuable research materials today. At the same time, the close exchange with our partners results in an innovative network with the result of constantly receiving new impulses for environmentally friendly disposal concepts
