AFA Folien GmbH

AFA Folien GmbH stands for the environmentally friendly and resource-efficient use of agricultural films and silage films. The public discussion shows that the use of plastics must be minimized. In agriculture in particular, however, there is no alternative to the use of plastic films (silage films), for example to cover silos or to avoid the use of herbicides and pesticides when growing berries and asparagus.

SUSTAINABLE HANDLING OF USED FILMS

If, accordingly, the use of plastic films cannot be dispensed with, sustainable handling of the waste films that arise is indispensable. This is ensured by AFA Folien GmbH, in that collected old foils, such as silage foils, are fed to the agricultural foil processing plant of AFA Nord GmbH. Used agricultural films are used in the recycling plant, and high-quality plastic granulates are produced from the agricultural films.

CLOSED LOOP SYSTEM

In addition to the material recycling of used agricultural films, AFA Folien GmbH sells new silage films and underlay films for covering mobile silos. Double the amount of foil sold is picked up from the farmer free of charge, so that the material cycle is closed. AFA Folien GmbH is thus able to offer a 'closed-loop system' for agricultural films with the AFAFol complete package. The package is rounded off by the provision of collection containers for old foils and roll-off bars for new foils. Our field and office staff look forward to hearing from you.
