Company history

In 2000, our company founder, Torsten Lienen, decided to bring his many years of experience in the waste disposal industry to an independent company and to offer his expertise and commitment to a select group of industrial customers.

Equipped only with a VW bus and a trailer, he was tirelessly out and about for his customers and disposed of their scrap metal.

In 2002 he passed the examination of the technical rules for hazardous substances (TRGS) and from that point on became the committed contact person for all questions in the area of ​​asbestos disposal in the Paderborn region.

Together with the first employees, who were hired in the following months, Mr. Lienen was now able to accept larger orders and offer his customers a broader range of disposal services.

Lienen Recycling has had its own collection point for recyclable materials in Bad Lippspringe since 2013.
