RUDOLF FOCK GmbH & Co. KG
Feldstrasse 3, Kaltenkirchen, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany | Waste Management
More than 125 years ago, in the autumn of 1884, Hans Hinrich Fock laid the foundation for today's company with the establishment of a stone carving and paving workshop.
The 'Fock paving and stone carving workshop' was mainly concerned with the processing and processing of boulders. With heavy physical work, these were worked on at the place of discovery or on the storage area to curb and paving stones of various sizes or to make masonry and foundation stones.
After the First World War, Hans Hinrich Fock handed the business over to his son, the stone setting master Rudolf Fock , whose name our company still bears today.
Rudolf Fock continued his father's work and managed the company through the difficult times of inflation, the global economic crisis and the turmoil of the Second World War.
Henry Fock joined his father's company in 1948 .
This year, after the currency reform, a new chapter began in the company's history.
The war had an army of millions of unemployed
left behind waiting for meaningful occupation. In this emergency, the state relied on 'Value-creating unemployment welfare': Emergency work was commissioned, and the unemployed were assigned by the employment office. The workforce, which has grown to more than 100 employees, manufactured roads and canals in the entire district by hand.
The first major measures were carried out in Kaltenkirchen:
The first expansion of the 'march path' as a gravel road
1951 the expansion of the street 'Wulfskamp' as the first development
1952 the expansion of the 'Schützenstrasse and Königstrasse'
From 1954 to 1957 local drainage in four construction phases
And from 1958 to 1959 the construction of the B 433 thoroughfare
The inventory of construction equipment and machines has adapted over the years to the assigned orders and was supplemented or expanded as required and technical progress.
Today there is a high-performance machine, equipment and vehicle park available.
Whereas in the 1950s mostly assistants were still required to carry out the work, the number of employees required fell with the progressive mechanical equipment and mechanization of the company.
The company now has Dipl.-Ing. Klaus Fock took over. If the face of the company has also changed in its more than 125-year history - the handicraft business of the stonecutter and paver Hans Hinrich Fock has become a modern, medium-sized company - so the foundations of all four generations that have led the company to this day were the same:
