633 Coronation Drive, Scarborough, Ontario, Canada | Waste Management

Coronation Organics Processing, Inc is a state-of-the-art, organics recycling and bioenergy facility to be located in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada.

Coronation Organics Processing offers a dependable, versatile and environmentally sustainable option for organic recycling. The facility will have state-of-the-art de-packaging equipment capable of processing over 30 tonnes per hour of mixed packaged organics for recycling. From food manufacturing, greenhouse and packing shed organics, grocery store and restaurant food green-box collection, Coronation Organics Processing’s ability to divert organic material from landfill and recycle it into renewable energy and organic fertilizer is an environmentally sound solution for the treatment of organic waste streams.

Our foundation

Coronation Organics Processing waste recycling services are based on its unique expertise in (1) organic waste acquisition, (2) the design and operation of organic waste de-packaging plants (“Depacks”) and organic recycling facilities, and (3) organic waste processing.

Our product

The outputs of Coronation Organics Processing operations are not wastes to be disposed.  Rather, they are valuable products. They can be used to generate “soil enhancement” products and generate renewable energy (e.g. natural gas). Some components produced by the de-packaging operation can be sold on the recycled materials market. All of these products are revenue streams for us.

Organic waste: from problem to resource

It can be hard to imagine household and industrial food waste producing anything more than a putrid odour. But it's also a potential energy source and organic fertilizer.

In Canadian municipalities with green bin programs, household organics are collected at the curb and used to generate compost or used for anaerobic digestion where they are broken down by microorganisms. One result of anaerobic digestion is the generation of biogas.

A growing number of these cities are upgrading that biogas (from a methane concentration of 55 to 60 per cent to 90 per cent or more) to produce what is called renewable natural gas (RNG). RNG meets the same quality standards as conventional natural gas and can be injected into a natural gas pipeline to heat buildings and fuel vehicles.

Our commitment...

We strive to be at the forefront of practical, profitable world class solutions in every aspect of our business – from proven technology and staff expertise to competitive feedstock agreements, and health and safety processes to local community liaison.

What we do....

Coronation Organics Processing business has two components: (1) Anaerobic Digestion recycling services to commercial and industrial generators of organic waste, and (2) the sale of enhanced-value products derived from organic wastes; ie, methane gas and fertilizer.
