In 1938 the company Joh. Mildenberger GmbH was founded at Böseler Str. 32 in 26169 Friesoythe-Schlingshöhe by the married couple Johann and Paula Mildenberger.

the first orders were to transport clinker bricks from neighboring brickworks for the construction of roads and houses.

After the company's founder died in 1957, his son Johann Fritz Mildenberger and his mother Paula (until 1961) took over the management of the company.
