WISTEMA GmbH

WISTEMA GmbH was founded in 1990 by Winfried and Helena Friedel and has since then been operating successfully in the fields of trading in primary and secondary raw materials and the acceptance of waste products, mostly for recycling.

The company now employs 30 people at Dielheim in Heidelberg, with an annual turnover of approx. 40 million Euro.

The trading department concentrates on the global marketing of chemical products, secondary raw materials, by-products and secondary flows. Since 1990, we have been working constantly on the expansion of our international networks and now have branches or agents in all important markets.

In the waste management department, the range of services includes the acceptance of wastes and the advising of our customers regarding all waste problems, the production of waste statements, and upon request complete waste management concepts for all wastes produced.

It is always our aim to utilise all available synergies between trading and disposal. This means redirecting the accepted wastes into sustainable marketing.

In addition, we also offer comprehensive services in the field of damaged goods.

In 2012 WISTEMA GmbH established a new business unit: WISTEMA - Food. This new business field provides raw materials and additives for various applications in the FOOD and cosmetics industry. 

The company is a member of the German Chemical Trading Association (VCH) and of the BDE and has been certified to DIN ISO 9001:2015 since 1998. Since May 2003 Wistema has been a waste management company.
