SCHAUER TRANSPORTS IN LAUFEN AD SALZACH

Our medium-sized family business was founded in 1971. Mr. Franz Schauer took over the municipal waste collection in the area of the city of Laufen.

Two years later, the first roll-off vehicle followed in order to be able to transport larger quantities to the waste glass recycling plants. On January 1st, 2002, Karl-Heinz Schauer took over the entire business from his father as a sole trader.

The fleet currently includes two drop-off trucks, four garbage trucks, three roll-off trucks and two roll-off trucks with cranes. We use the vehicles to transport 82 roll-off and 140 skip containers.

The staff consists of four office workers, ten truck drivers and several garbage collectors and temporary workers. Over the years we have often visited schools and kindergartens to find out about the importance of waste separation. Our goal is to convey environmental awareness to the children.

A special container trailer, which was purchased in 1978, marked the beginning of the container service. With the introduction of the “blue bin”, the “yellow sack” and the aluminum tinplate containers in the Berchtesgadener Land district, we received further orders as a subcontractor for the company Papyrus Wertstoff Service.

For the RTL 2 program “Der Trödeltrupp” our containers are in use for the next event.

As a result of the waste glass disposal in the entire district, two drop-off trucks and ten containers were purchased in 1993 in order to be able to carry out other commercial and private orders.
