Returo Disposal GmbH

Returo Disposal GmbH is a sales company with exclusively municipal shareholders.

The task of Returo is the full utilization of the incineration plants in Leverkusen and Bonn.

Returo sees itself as an important and reliable partner for container services and waste disposal companies in the region. However, it also offers its services nationwide and in other European countries. Access to nine incineration plants in North Rhine-Westphalia allows the acceptance of around 200 different types of waste and enables flexible and successful waste management.

Returo - our story

Returo was founded in 2007 by the municipal shareholders, Avea, Leverkusen and MVA Bonn.

The background was to provide the commercial waste disposal market with the free capacities of the Bonn and Leverkusen incineration plants that were not required for the region's municipal waste.

Under the management of Hans Peter Fabrizius, today with his successor Martin Krekeler, and Manfred Becker, Returo began to build up a customer base at home and abroad and to control the amount of waste to the plants.

The first major project was the coordination of household waste from Naples.
