The history of the company Gummi Appel

1948 Our company is founded by Mr. Karl Friedrich Appel and initially concentrates on the recycling of rubber raw materials into everyday objects.

In the following years the product range was continuously expanded and adapted to market requirements with special technology. The production areas were considerably expanded and optimized. 1969 - 2005 Under the management of Mr. Bernhard Appel, the production of rubber granules and rubber flours for the new market was discovered and expanded. 2005 Management was handed over to Mr. Matthias Appel and the associated transformation of the company into Gummi Appel GmbH + Co KG. 2010 - 2011 Further development in the area: Technical fine flour. 2011 - 2012 Product expansion in the area: Rubber - Mulch. 2012 - 2013 Product expansion in the area of EPDM granules
