Our company offers the complete service through its own gravel works, recycling plants and landfills, logistics of bulk goods transports as well as through our experienced team for demolition, earthworks and special work.

The in-house truck and construction machinery workshop creates its own device configurations and services especially for construction projects, which optimizes the construction time and our performance.

In addition, we have all the possibilities of the Krebs Group with its independent companies.

History

In 1956 Ernst Krebs registered his 'local freight transport' business. This was the foundation stone for the family company known today in Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg. With a lot of hard work and dedication, Ernst Krebs was able to buy a piece of land in Ruhrstrasse in 1959. While the Ruhrstraße is located in the middle of the 'industrial area south' in Neumünster today, this area was hardly populated in 1959 and was in a rural area.

Just eight years after Ernst Krebs became self-employed, he founded the company Krebs & Suhr GmbH & Co. KG together with Rudolf Suhr. The company, which is now run by Frank Schlemmer, works in the civil engineering and road construction industry and is also based in Ruhrstrasse.

In 1966 our company's first gravel plant was built in Loop. After complete recultivation, no more gravel is refined in Loop today. This plant is currently used as a workshop and as a drying facility for grit.

Over the years, four more locations for gravel processing were added.

In 1970 our largest gravel plant in terms of area was founded in Großenaspe. Today, waste is recycled and used sustainably on an operating area of ​​40 hectares. In addition to the operation of a sorting plant, the impact crusher is an important part of our gravel plant. Around 45,000 tons of recycling material from broken bricks and concrete are produced here every year.

Our third gravel plant was put into operation in 1975 in Nützen / Lentföhrden. Even today, the gravel quarrying in Nützen serves both for self-sufficiency for our construction sites and for third-party sales for private and commercial customers.

Just one year later, we started mining gravel in the Schmalstede gravel plant.

Due to the close proximity to Neumünster, we succeed in an effective supply of bulk goods, as well as a further optimization through the possibility of the disposal of Z0 floors according to LAGA 2004.

Since January 1st, 1993 Carén Krebs has been the sole owner of Ernst Krebs GmbH & Co. KG. This courageous and future-oriented step of the early generation change at the top was the basis for the foundation of five other companies in the Krebs Group.

In 1994 the Großenasper Entsorgungsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG (GEG) was founded. In May 1994, GEG started its landfill operations on the site of our gravel works in Großenaspe.

The proximity of our companies to one another enables a family-like and cooperative relationship.

In the same year Mrs. Carén Krebs founded the company Krebs Kiesveredelung GmbH (KVK). The company owns a gravel works in Bornhöved and works closely with us.

Our diverse spectrum was expanded in 1999 with the establishment of Kies Beton Krebs GmbH & Co. KG (KBK). The company, run by Marc Fröhlich and Carén Krebs, produces concrete using the latest mixing plant technology and supplies construction sites with their own fleet of vehicles.

In 2006 we celebrated our 50th company anniversary with pride and joy. Thanks to Ernst Krebs' courage to be independent, we can present ourselves today as a solid, high-performance and modern family company. The founding of the companies Krebs Brüggen secondary raw materials GmbH & Co. KG (KBS) and Krebs Infrastruktur und Betonbau GmbH & Co. KG (KIB) contributed significantly to this strength. KBS procures and supplies its customers with secondary raw material fertilizers. The company also disposes of and recycles organic waste. The KIB company, on the other hand, works in the concrete and road construction industry. The establishment of both companies rounds off the picture from raw material extraction to raw material processing to the final production of the building.

In 2014 the company ABE Deponie GmbH was founded by Krebs and the Heidelberg companies. The company has a class 0 landfill under construction in Tarbek.
