Company history
The company history of Leber Rohstoffe dates back to 1943. The family company was founded by August Leber, who is now managed by his two sons. The traditional company continued to develop decade after decade on the international market for the recycling of steel scrap and non-ferrous metals. In 1948 a concept for the separation and processing of steel scrap was developed. In 1964 the first trough exchange system was introduced in southern Germany. After numerous takeovers and investments, Leber Rohstoffe is now an internationally operating recycling company with around 150 employees. In the meantime, more than 50 company-owned vehicles of the most modern design are in use for various tasks in the field of waste and recycling management.
