Our company

Over 400 million tons of waste are generated in Germany every year [Stat. Federal Office 2014], of which around 1.3 million tonnes are metal dust with plastic components (granules).

As enosys Recycling GmbH, we focus on the recovery of raw materials from non-ferrous metals (non-ferrous metals, especially copper) from plastic granulate and suction filter materials. This waste mainly comes from wire processing and recycling. The granulates of non-ferrous metals obtained from this are delivered to a wide variety of customers (foundries, aluminum and copper smelters, etc.) and processed into new, high-quality products.

By recovering these valuable raw materials, natural resources are conserved and greenhouse gas emissions are significantly reduced compared to mining. The plastic granules (residues) of the insulating materials are fed back into the economic cycle and used, for example, for the production of beacon feet for traffic signs, construction site barriers or grass pavers. Furthermore, they can be thermally recycled and used as a high-energy substitute fuel in power plants.

The entire recycling chain is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Recycling Management Act.
