In addition to the Re-EL furniture barns, the Re-El electrical recycling sector is another branch of the Re-El GmbH company, which was founded in 1994 as a recycling company. We are an economically independent company in the district of Harburg and work very closely with the waste management company in the district of Harburg.

The aim and purpose of founding the company was, on the one hand, active environmental protection through orderly and very thorough recycling and, in the case of the furniture barns, the re-use of still intact economic goods. This conserves resources and the environment. On the other hand, we only employ long-term unemployed people in our company and social welfare recipients who are difficult to place on the labor market. We enable these people to start a regular working day, so that new opportunities for a regular life arise for them. Of course, this also means new perspectives on the so-called primary labor market for each individual.

All of our employees are employed subject to social security contributions, are professionally instructed and are continuously qualified. The goal for the future is for the company to be financially self-sustaining despite its social background. In addition to economic reasons, this also has to do with the self-image and self-esteem of the employees: away from ALG II recipients towards employees who are paid according to their performance.

Despite the social background, we are able to offer our business partners economically very attractive conditions. Every business deal with us is practically a win-win situation in several respects: A benefit for the environment, society and of course also for the companies that work with us.
