AWU Ostprignitz-Ruppin GmbH (AWU OPR) is a joint venture between the Ostprignitz-Ruppins district and the ALBA Group plc & Co. KG. The district's shares are 51% and the ALBA Group plc & Co. KG holds 49%. Furthermore, the AWU Ostprignitz-Ruppin GmbH is a competent disposal partner for many commercial and industrial companies in the district of Ostprignitz-Ruppin in the field of commercial waste, paper and construction waste disposal.
