HISTORY

1990

Founding of the company with office and storage space in Garching-Hochbrück on Zeppelinstrasse;

3 shareholders and 4 industrial employees;

The object of the company is the transport of waste, in particular household waste, green waste, mixed construction waste, commercial waste, wood, and the purchase of scrap and non-ferrous metals.

1992

The company expands;

Relocation to new offices in Garching-Hochbrück on Robert-Bosch-Straße and renting a sorting hall and a larger storage area in Munich-Trudering; 6 industrial employees.

1994

Further company growth

1996

The Kalmbach family takes over 100% of the GmbH;

Renting of a new storage and sorting hall, as well as a larger open space, storage area for containers in Garching-Hochbrück on Carl-von-Linde-Straße; Introduction of a new IT system for disposition, transport and waste management; 11 industrial employees;

The company sets the course for certification as a waste management company.

1998

Certification by the LGA in Nuremberg

1999

Relocation of the company to Unterschleißheim on Carl-von-Linde-Straße;

The vehicle fleet will be completely renewed and brought up to the latest technical standards; 12 industrial employees.

2000

End of 1999 purchase of a commercial hall and new company headquarters with offices, workshop and open space in Ismaning, Am Lenzenfleck (total 3000 square meters), as well as the rental of further nearby open spaces in Ismaning, Am Fischerfleck (approx. 2000 square meters); 18 industrial employees.

2006

Thanks to the excellent service quality and high flexibility in all areas of the company, Contra Müll has earned an excellent reputation as an important partner to industry and the construction industry and has firmly established itself in the market.

2006–2010

Further company growth;

The number of trucks was increased.

Increase in container capacity;
