AITCH Group nv grew out of FSC nv, which has been active in sand recycling since 1997. Since its foundation, FSC nv has grown into an established value in the purification and processing of mineral waste flows into useful raw materials.

The service was expanded over the years so that customers could be offered a total service, including logistics service and project management. But in addition to purifying and recycling mineral waste, FSC nv also expanded its activities to mobile sludge dewatering under the name MODESO.

In order to continuously improve the level of service and to tap into new activities, it became necessary to reorganize FSC nv. FSC nv became AITCH Group nv. AITCH Group nv, strong in environmentally safe pre-treatment and valorisation of mineral waste flows, currently covers two divisions, each with their own specialization:

• FSC, specialist in cleaning and valorisation of mineral waste streams;

FSC is a specialist in the valorisation of mineral waste streams such as sand, sludge and rubble into useful secondary raw materials, suitable for construction applications. FSC has a suitable valorisation method for every mineral waste stream. For example, pure rhine sand, clay, gravel and rubble fractions of constant quality can be produced from supplied waste flows. FSC is also responsible for the in and ex situ cleaning of contaminated soil and B-TOP storage. FSC has its own licensed installations or solutions at third parties.

• MODESO, active in mobile sludge dewatering.

MODESO - Mobile Dewatering Solutions - specializes in the treatment of biological and physico-chemical sludge. In addition to professional advice on sludge treatment, MODESO offers reliable solutions for mobile sludge dewatering. MODESO cooperates with licensed processing centers for the processing of sludge cakes. If desired, MODESO is also responsible for the organization of the necessary transports.

Many companies are looking for an external service provider for the dewatering and processing of sludge. In many cases sludge is disposed of without dewatering, resulting in high transport and processing costs.
