History

Bodo Freimuth is a medium-sized, owner-managed company that meets customer requirements with complete flexibility and sovereignty. We can now fall back on over 50 years of experience.

Our company father founded the sole proprietorship Bodo Freimuth Erdbau in 1965. The company mainly offered services as an agricultural contractor. The first earthworks were carried out by a tractor-pulled excavator. Bodo Freimuth quickly recognized the possibility of specializing in heavy earth moving.

The company gains a good reputation through proper and reliable work, according to the motto 'don't talk a lot - work a lot'. The high personal commitment of the company owner, as well as the solid training of the employees and the early acquisition of powerful machines enable constant growth.

From the 1970s onwards, the company began to make a name for itself in the demolition industry. In 1972 Bodo Freimuth bought the premises of the former brickworks in Bülkau and over time expanded it into the company's central headquarters. The company continues to expand and accepts orders from all over Germany.

In 1990 more than a hundred employees celebrate their 25th company anniversary. From the sole proprietorship Bodo Freimuth Erbau, the Freimuth Group is formed with the following companies:

In 1995 Jörg Freimuth joins the group and becomes managing director of Abbruch & Recycling GmbH. With extensive experience in industrial demolition (cement factories, sugar factories, etc.), Freimuth Demolition and Recycling has become a reliable partner for industry and municipalities, since 2004 as an official waste management company.

In 2005, Bodo Freimuth celebrates his 40th anniversary with his family, over three hundred employees and many invited guests from business, industry and politics. At the end of 2012, he retired from the company, whereby Jörg Freimuth became the sole managing director and owner of the Freimuth Group in January 2013.

As always, development and progress are being driven forward. In October 2013 the Freimuth Recyclinghof opened on our company premises and since July 2019 we have had our own company restaurant on our company premises. In addition, other projects are currently being implemented and others are being planned.
