Company History

In 1960, the father of five, Adolf Pletschacher, founded a scrap metal and metal business in the backyard of his home on Alpenstrasse in Freilassing

In 1974 his son Anton Pletschacher became involved in the business due to his father's serious illness. Anton Pletschacher takes over the scrap and metal trade after the death of his father

Expansion of the operation or creation of the recycling business with container provision

2 1/2 years of training in business administration in Munich

Relocation to the old company premises of DB in Westendstrasse in Freilassing

1992: Foundation of A. Pletschacher GmbH and holding company

1994: Founding of the waste wood company Pletschacher-Stallmayer Gdbr

Nephew Mario Weilch is integrated into the management as support

Planning and start of construction work on the new and modern recycling specialist in Breslauer-Straße in Freilassing with a recycling center

2006: Completion of the new company premises with change of name to Pletschacher Recycling GmbH

May 2006: Opening of the new recycling plant with a recycling point

July 2006: Certification as a waste management company according to § 52 of the Recycling Waste Act

August 2007: Certifier for end-of-life vehicle acceptance

2009: Expansion of the company premises to a total of 10,800 m²

Completion October 2009

November 2009: Green goods acceptance point

July 2011: Opening of the municipal recycling center

April 2016: 10-year certification as a waste management company

May 2016: Son Mario Pletschacher joins the family business after completing his training.
