The company IJZERLAND was founded in 1991 by the Van Frausum family.    

As a business manager, Ive Van Frausum knows how to motivate his people thanks to his goal-oriented, inventive approach, great perseverance and hard work.

• Initially, the company was located in Wijnegem at Broekstraat 21.
• The depot was transferred to Olen in 2002 . Due to the growth and expansion of our company, we have moved since January 2010 to our new location in Wommelgem, where our offices and depot are currently centralized.

The activity that IJzerland started at the time was the collection of old metals . Currently, our scrap metal collection services are much more extensive; For example, we take care of the collection, transport, storage and processing of all metal scrap, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, destruction and processing of decommissioned equipment and machines, disused containers, etc.
