Entsorgungs- GmbH Luckau

History

The Entsorgungs-GmbH Luckau was founded in September 1995.

On September 25, 1995 Frank Klinkmüller founded the Entsorgungs-GmbH Luckau (EGL) with two used trucks and three employees. As the first company site he bought a former property belonging to the Goßmar agricultural cooperative. A storage and parking area for containers and scrap was created there. There was no real office building at that time. A provisionally built office container served as the office at that time.

Shortly after EGL was founded, a branch was set up in Doberlug-Kirchhain in 1999. With the takeover of this office, EGL received the order to carry out the waste water disposal in the areas Herzberg-Finsterwalde-Doberlug-Kirchhain. There are now five suction and flushing vehicles in the fleet.

The main service was the transport of waste with trucks with skips. Of course, the resulting materials also had to be weighed. For this purpose, a truck scale was built in 2003. EGL was now able to create weighing tickets independently. The first major cosmetic repair was the paving of the entire area in 2005/2006. It was paved and the ailing halls renovated, in which a truck workshop was built. Another service was added to the waste transport. EGL worked with large local construction companies who wanted our support with demolition work. For example, we helped with several bridge demolitions and the installation of solar systems. In 2015, EGL acquired an area in a neighboring town in order to be able to properly store the building rubble and concrete that resulted from the demolition.

In 2009, another part of the company headquarters in Luckau was renovated. The front part of the old agricultural halls was converted into a modern office building.

In addition, an adjacent plot of land was acquired to provide a larger container space. The greatest challenge was that our company premises received the approval from the Federal Immissions Office not only to dispose of waste, but also to store it. After many checks and the processing of all requirements, we received this BImSch approval.

In 2015 our company celebrated its 20th anniversary.
