Verhelle NV from Tielt has been a fixed value for years when it comes to unclogging drains and clearing septic and various other wells (rainwater, grease, waste, ...) in the wider region.

Cleaning gullies and sewers and managing, sorting and recycling various types of waste are also core activities of this thriving family business.

Private individuals, companies, municipalities and public administrations can count on correct implementation and fast service.

Experience and technology under one roof

The Verhelle family business was founded more than 30 years ago, with the sole activity of cleaning street gullies on behalf of municipalities and public authorities in the Tielt region. A few years later, the cleaning of sewers under high pressure was added and the rental of waste containers also became a fully-fledged activity within the company.

The company grew and prospered and in 2001 the new 15,000m² location in the Tielt industrial zone was opened. There, the waste park was given a full place and sorting and recycling were further expanded.

A strong team

In addition to Christophe Verhelle, wife Katrien and children Sharon, Laurens and Lander, around 20 employees are working day in and day out to provide every customer with the best possible service. Thanks to the many years of experience of our drivers and workers, numerous public authorities, companies and private individuals can always count on a correct and fast service.

Flexible and easily accessible

Our waste collection park is accessible every weekday from 5am to 7pm and on Saturday morning from 6am to 11.30am. This wide accessibility is a great asset for contractors who want to unload their waste before or after work. They can weigh the rubble or bulky waste themselves and put it in the right place, without having to depend on anyone or have to wait long.

Sustainable and environmentally conscious

As a waste processor, we are constantly looking for methods and techniques to minimize our impact on the environment. Correct and accurate consideration and sorting are not only necessary for our permits, but also allow us to recycle extensively. A lot of the waste that arrives at us is converted into electricity in various ways or is re-used, for example as sub-foundation in the construction sector.

Thanks to the use of recycling vehicles to clean the sewers, we save enormously on water consumption. Moreover, we no longer have to drive up and down with (fresh) water each time, which also benefits our ecological footprint.
