History

De Jong systems was founded in 1976

At the time, the company sold machines and equipment for the retail trade, particularly butcher shops. The number of butchers decreased over time and De Jong started to broaden its product range. The weighing systems, which already formed part of the range, were given an increasingly prominent place as a product group. De Jong currently supplies a very wide range of weighing systems.

Waste treatment systems, big in size

With the increasing waste problem and also in response to the demand from existing customers, De Jong started in 1997 with advice and delivery of systems for processing waste. The unprocessed disposal of waste has become and is becoming more and more expensive and more and more companies want to deal with their waste in an environmentally-friendly manner based on social responsibility. De Jong now has an enormous amount of knowledge in the field of processing various types of waste in various markets. Both the customers and the producers of the waste treatment systems appreciate this. De Jong always puts the customer first and has the exclusive rights for the Netherlands to supply waste treatment systems from a number of leading brands. De Jong is rightly big on downsizing.

Environmentally responsible entrepreneurship

Consumers and companies find it increasingly important that companies from whom they purchase their products operate in an environmentally conscious manner. Environmentally conscious entrepreneurship is increasingly a strong marketing tool with a promise to people and society. With the current innovative solutions, it has become easier and cheaper for companies to deal more consciously with waste and residual products. In our view it is therefore no longer an option to dispose of waste in large quantities unprocessed. Environmentally-friendly handling of waste produced is socially desirable now and in the future and is increasingly necessary.

Great in shrinking

Waste is a major problem and worldwide there is still an increase in the enormous amount of waste. Disposing of waste entails increasingly higher costs. On the other hand, the techniques for separating waste, compressing it into smaller volumes or for making valuable residual products from waste are becoming increasingly advanced. This makes waste easier to dispose of or recycle into new products after processing. The purchase of a waste processing system is therefore becoming increasingly interesting for companies.

We want to offer good, affordable solutions for companies to deal with their waste in an environmentally friendly way. We want to add economic and social value to waste.
