We have made it our mission to return valuable materials to the material cycle through conscientious disposal and thorough recycling and thus to make an important contribution to environmental protection. In 1992 we added the collection, transport and recycling of lead batteries to our range of products. Our special vehicles collect these batteries, especially starter, drive and replacement batteries, throughout Germany and other European countries. Every year we dispose of around 4.0 million lead batteries for recycling.
