Machinery

Appkuns has modern machinery, which largely produces fully automatically. Disciplines such as 2K injection molding (2 different plastics in one mold / product) and injection blow molding are also possible. In addition, our ERP system offers traceability (generated lot numbers) for traceability of delivered products.

Clean and certified

Do you operate in the medical sector?

A clean working environment and production in this is very essential. We are ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified and have a cleanroom for processing and packaging plastic products that comply with Class 7 according to the NEN-EN-ISO 14644-1 standard. This way you can be sure that your product meets the required hygiene standards.

Appkuns works on Corporate Social Responsibility in various ways.

Recycling plastics

CSR already starts with the basis of our company, the product we mainly use, namely: plastic. Plastic itself has a number of beautiful properties, including recyclability. At Appkuns, we recycle residual material directly from production and reuse it in the process. That way nothing is lost.

Bio material

Do you want a plastic product made from biological material? We are also happy to realize this for you. More and more is possible, so feel free to ask us about the current options.

Support in the work process

At our assembly, we guide and support various employees in their participation in the work process.

Consciously dealing with energy

Appkuns continuously invests in measures to use energy more consciously. A few examples: Fully automatic, modern machines, insulation of cooling systems and the reuse of heat released from the process.

History

Appkuns is a family business founded in 1978 by Mr. M. and mrs. L. van Baal. Started from the injection molding of plastic products, the company continues to grow. Where at first they mainly operated as a 'contract manufacturer ', now, more than 40 years later, the activities mainly consist of 'Customer Related Product Development'. The company further specialized in design and production for medical packaging and industrial applications and invested in new technologies .

Appkuns now has more than 3,400 m² of business space, equipped with over 80% fully automated machinery, is both ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified and has a cleanroom for the production, processing and packaging of plastic products (Class 7 NEN-EN-ISO 14644-1 standard).

Ambition

Appkuns has a clear vision for the future: Performance in Plastics . This vision goes further than just investing in technology or continuity. Customer satisfaction and involvement are at least as important to continue to deliver this optimal performance. That is why these spearheads have also been included in our multi-year plan.
