Steenbergen Metal Recycling

Steenbergen metal recycling opened its doors on July 15, 2015 at Rhienderstein 14 in Brummen.
In fact, the company had been around for much longer, but customers were only served at our own location. This happened through 3 generations of Steenbergen's.

In 2015, the decision was made to open up a site for both business customers and private individuals for the delivery of scrap iron and metals, a leap of faith.
Initially, this happened with a terrain of 950m2, a hall for metal storage and a 15-ton weighbridge.

It was soon discovered that this was really too little space. Today this has already been expanded to a site of over 2000m2. Steenbergen is also trying to keep improving in the field of logistics and environmental awareness.
For example, a new MAN TGS truck was purchased in 2017. This is known for its extremely quiet and environmentally friendly engine, and meets all contemporary requirements.

It was also decided in 2017 to have a new weighbridge constructed.
This weighbridge has a weighing capacity of 50 tons, so we can weigh almost any truck on our own site.

Both business and private customers know where to find the company today. At the beginning of 2018, the service was expanded again by purchasing a chain container car. With this we are now able to sell portal containers from 3 cubic meters to 40 cubic meters, which means that we now manage a container service with which the customer can be provided in any way. We place these containers permanently or temporarily at private individuals and companies, always free of charge in the region!
